Aurora Health Access (AHA) has convened around an urgent problem in Aurora: Too many residents have limited access to health care coverage and limited places to seek medical care when they do find coverage. One in three Aurora residents face significant barriers to managing their basic health needs.
To improve our overall community health and fulfill our potential to be a great city we must make a commitment, as a community, to create a health care system that meets the needs of everyone in Aurora. Aurora Health Access is a coalition of health care providers, advocates, and volunteer community members working to do just this. Through community engagement and research, AHA has been working hard to strengthen the health care system in Aurora.
